It's not prohibited but is discouraged. FriXion pen are not advisable too.
You are advised not to use correction fluid / tape in the examinations as it may affect the legibility of the answers. There are instances where candidates did not complete their answers after correction fluid / tape had been applied.

Answer scripts with correction fluid / tape may also be damaged when scanned, or the pages may stick together if the correction fluid has not dried.
Yes ofcos. How to differentiate the 240s n 250s average to your 260, 270 n 280 superacheivers? Have to have the discriminating qs. Everyone cannot qualify for Big 4 school rt? So ofcos expect the 4 or 5 killer or tricky q for every subject.
          Which Big 4 schools?
RI, RGS,NYGH, HCI ....the top 4.
I see. Thanks. What about MGS? I thought MGS has higher COP for IP than NYGH last year?

How are the big 4 decided?

Without a doubt, it's ranked by the design of the school uniform.

RI should have been ranked poorly TBH... but people are so used to see white on white.

                  Haha

Why do you think RI should be ranked poorly?

I just don’t get why these are the big 4? Besides the Raffles name, what else is special about the school programmes that are superior to other schools?

HCI and NYGH offer bilingual programmes but I know so many kids who struggle to speak Mandarin in the 2 schools, so they are definitely not interested in the bilingual programmes.

That's an exception. Last year was an exception in terms of cop for middle tier schools. NYGH have always been a school of higher cop than MGS. NYGH cop for affiliation is 250 MGS is 220 for their own girls from the primary. Your DD gets 250 n is from mgs pri where would u rather she goes? A homogenous school is better. Imo
