Thank you so much, orange belt and green belt.
Really need the assurance. But was looking at the new financial programmes. He has to be like top 30% of cohort before he can qualify.

Then was thinking if enrichment programmes are not subsidised, then will be an issue .
i have heard of subsidy for school fees, via EESIS. Yes, EESIS exists

But, have never heard of subsidy for \"enrichment\" programmes as well, within RI

I believe the score that qualifies for EESIS is different every year.
Cos it's actually the top few % of the cohort who qualify. Am I right to say that?
To continue remain \"qualify\" for ESSIS @RI, from IP Year (2 to 5) onwards, what is the requirement ?

          is it based on

          - being able to meet the lowest GPA requirement,

          Or

          - being able to remain within Top x % of the cohort, every year ?

          what is x ?

Usually top 2% of psle cohort . If its 38000 then 760 boys n girls quality. They will be in the ESSIS n automatically qualify. Moe sets the ESSIS based on psle performance that year. Usually 260 n above. N these are the kids.who will qualify for top 4 schools by default.

Wow. Top 2%. I remembered my friend's son last year had 266 but he didn't qualify I think. Is this ESSIS also subject to household income?

Thank you chenlaoshi. ask May I also ask you why in this test paper, ticket price is needed?

Username123, the answer provided isn't very accurate (majority, if not all of these are produced by the company that sold the sch papers).

There is no need to mention that \"the script is adapted based from ... ...\". Also, if they need the student to state relevant fee, they will be clearer in their question. 好朋友 does not definitely means he/she must be a child ($15). If fee is required, they will state detailed information like 你六年级的同学志文 or 你的好朋志文友今年十岁 etc.

For note writing question (4 marks), language is worth 2 marks and content is worth 2 marks.

Thank you so much for the reply, chenloashi. Finally, I will like to ask what to write when biantiao information only requires you to 邀请 somebody without 详情 or 原因. Once again, thank you for your help. Sorry if the questions were overwhelming.

Only if he went to an independent school

ESIS is a scholarship offered by MOE. It is given to top 1/3 of all sec 1 students eligible for Independent Schools. So yes, the cut-off for ESIS is different every year.

ESIS is offered for 6 years and as long as you get promoted to the next level and exhibit good conduct, you can continue receiving ESIS.

However, besides ESIS, RI offers school-based scholarships and other financial assistance. These are not spelt out on their website coz it is on a case-by-case basis. The best way to find out what type of financial assistance is available to your child is to call up RI. They will be more than happy to give you the details. And yes, there are financial assistance that goes beyond just covering school fees.

EESIS is not subjected to household income, because a friend's son received \"free\" education throughout IP (Year 1 to Year 6) until graduation, from a Top IP Junior College, although he come from rich (wealthy) background. My friend (the mom) said the IP school look at your year-end academic results, at end of every year
