Lugtug....u never know. U may still be ok. As i said grades are not important its the marks. So focus on not throwing more marks away for remaining 2.
Good luck. Stay focused
-

Afaik,
Is anyone familiar with the marking criteria for math long answer qn? If the answer is correct, but the methods/ steps shown are entirely wrong, will there be any mark given?
Method wrong answer right no marks
Method right answer wrong partial marks
Method right answer right ofc full marks
Method not important -

This is strange.
Hi all, although maths paper is over. I am curious is it the student can only bring one calculator to the exam hall? In other forum, there are many parents who suggest bring 2 calculators in case one does not work..but today my girl was only allowed to bring one although we have prepared 2 as last few days the old calculators seems to have some fault.
My ds brought in 2 calculators with no stickers.
Some of his friends brought in 3 calculators even.
His teachers says stickers not required cuz the teachers will double check on their list so none of their calculators has stickers -

I don't think ESIS is based on GPA.
for boys who are Singapore citizenship , if his PSLE Tscore goes above 260 or 262, students qualify for EESIS (Year 1) ?phtthp\" post_id=\"1938193\" time=\"1569648330\" user_id=\"35251:
Hi all,
Would like to ask for advice.
My son is aiming for RI. But we are concerned about the costs involved because we have 3 children but not eligible for subsidies .
Can I check how much the fees are for RI and whether there are extra enrichment programmes in RI and will these be subsidised?
I don't really want him to miss the opportunity of going RI but if it's too expensive, we may opt for other IP schools.
Would appreciate if someone who knows of people in RI can comment.
Thank you so much.
:thankyou:
However, subsequently, RI will look at your year-end results, every year
@end of Year 1 (IP), in order to continue enjoy receiving \"free\" education for Year 2 (IP), via EESIS,
what is the minimum (lowest) GPA score requirement, because failure to meet this requirement will mean that the student need to fork out and pay $300+, per month, his EESIS privilege gets terminated from that point onwards, or can he still continue to renew next year, if say, he is able to meet back the GPA score requirement again the following year ?
(EESIS not for Secondary students who are PR / foreigner status)
4. TENURE
4.1 The tenure of the scholarship is 6 years for students on the 6-year programme and 4 years for students on the O-Level track. The scholar must progress to the next level of study each year and have good conduct in order to continue receiving the scholarship.
https://www.moe.gov.sg/education/edusave/edusave-scholarships-for-independent-schools-%28esis%29
Extra enrichment programmes in RI are subsidised based on ISB Eligibilities.
i.e. $6,901- $9,000 ($1,726 - $2,250 per capita income) - 33%
$4,001 - $6,900 ($1,001 - $1,725 per capita income) - 70%
$2,751 - $4,000 ($691 - $1,000 per capita income) - 90%
< $2,751 (<$691 per capita income) - 100%
https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/education/more-financial-help-for-students-from-lower-and-middle-income-families-in
Anyway the enrichment programs (such as overseas trips, boarding) are optional.
Sorry, I am a bit confused. My friend's family has a household income of $8000. She has 1 child only & her son received eesis. After the announcement of the financial help, she told me her son's school fees will be reduced further. She will apply for next year. Even though her household income is 8k, but per capita is $2666. But she told me, it is based on household income only. Is she correct? Thanks. -
will the grades be based on the raw scores?

So is it top 2% or top one third of the psle cohort for ESIP if for 6 years integrated program? How many psle kids roughly every year sittin for exam?
It is top 1/3 of those admitted to Independent Schools.
This is very different from top 1/3 of entire cohort.
per Independent school -
so doesn't mean that those scored >= 260 will definitely get ESIS in RI, if let's say this 260 student happen to fall outside Top 1/3 of entire 2019 Sec 1 cohort bracket, inside RI
this year Total, how many RI 2019 Sec 1 students (born 2006) ?
Top 1/3 of RI Sec 1 cohort, means approximately ... how many students ?
It is 1/3 of ALL admitted to independent schools. So say last yr's ESIS cut-off was 260, so all those who scored 260 and above will get it, regardless of whether they are top 1/3 of RI. -

They will apply adjustment to your Total original 4 Raw score, in order to compute your Tscore. So, Tscore is an \"adjusted \" figure, no longer raw (original) anymore
will the grades be based on the raw scores?
Input : your Total raw score
Via a process, \"moderation\"
Output : give your Tscore (After adjustment) -
Anyone have their math minused a lot? Like 15?
