      Hi parents,

Would appreciate your advises here in terms of the guideline of T-score. For a 240, does it mean on average of 80 marks per subject? I know its very much dependent on the performance of the cohort, but just trying to have a guide if possible. Thanks!
To score 240 : must jump over the hurdle of 80 marks, per subject

If only hit the dot (boundary) exactly 80 marks, Tscore still fall back within 23x

for Catholic High, with Affliation Tscore 240, it is not easy to go back to Affliated (O level)

        anyone know,

this year ( 2019), Total how many thousands of P6 students sat for 2019 PSLE ?

Is it true that, based on past years’ trend

        Top 10% is above 265

        Top 30% is above 250

        Top 50% is above 230 ?

I think top 10% should be about above 250.

I have to re-read to make sure this is not a trick question?? coming from a veteran of KSP

            What I gathered so far,

            262 or 263 is top 3-5%

            252 or 253 is top 10%

            230 is top 30-35%?

            p6 ~ 39k?

according to MOE statistics, there were 40,618 Pri 4 students in 2017, so tat’s roughly the number of PSLE candidates this year.

By the way, getting into specifics, using average would be a very bad way of calculating t-score.
T-score is a summation of the 4 subjects’ t-scores and the 4 subjects’ t-scores are INDEPENDENT of one another.

60+70+90+100 and 80+80+80+80 would both give you an average score of 80 marks but would give you vastly different t-score due to the different subjects mean.

For those parents with kids going to RI/RGS/RJC…if u want to save travelling time for your kid for the next ~6 years…My relative has a 2BR property at Tresalveo (Marymount Terrace), for rent or for sale. Please PM me if ure interested.

The previous tenant was a Japanese family, kept the unit in very good condition. The husband was posted back to Japan so they terminated using their diplomatic clause.

230 maybe (e.g. if 2 subjects had tough papers n the student did well in them) but 235 unlikely...
