Best train yr child to use ruler & pen to cross errors tgsn using correction tape. Explain to yr child he/she risks the tape coming off btwn her writing answers & it coming off the script when it teachers or PSLE invigilator/marker. In fact, in alerting our upper Pri kids, they suddenly learnt to commit less errors & are neater in their work.

I’m in P6 this year (as in 2020), but my teacher never said that cannot use correction tape or gel pens. I’ve been using Muji pens the whole time. What’s a good brand of ballpoint pens? Thanks in advance.

Apparenltly, correction tapes, gel pens or hightlighters are all not allowed for PSLE. My’s kid’s MTL teacher said one kid that she marked for used correction tape and since actual exam papers are not sent to teachers for marking but a scanned copy, the scanner could not pick up words written over correction tape and the marks given was 0!

This is sad, I told my kid best ask for more paper if need to make corrections.

Yes, previously it was \"suggested\" to not use (correction tape), but this year due to OSM (on screen marking) the instructions were clearly changed to \"do not use\" (correction tape). I believe CL may have been the only subject with OSM this year but I can't remember.

Our primary school quit selling correction tape at mid-year and started moving the kids to cross out and re-write answers on papers.
