      Alternatively, listen to logic.

As for erika123, those in the forum long enough would probably guess who she is. Anyway, I doubt she can provide concrete proof on her claim that “129 students were retained”. Worse comes to worst, erika123 could just abandon her white/yellow belt username and come in to EJC thread using another newly created username.
I’m sure most ppl here already knew this newcomer is actual an old timer here.

Her “hit & run“ tactic still the same..
As usual, kena hamtam jialet jialet then go MIA.. later come back with different number plate, but actually is the same car lah! Haha

With 10 or more students admitted into YLLSoM, anything is possible with this school. Look at the positive side of things, your child may turn out to be like one of those students.

              Read extracted ST news:

"The school now has about 440 Joint Integrated Programme students from Catholic High School, CHIJ St Nicholas Girls’ School and Singapore Chinese Girls’ School. Three were offered places via the Direct School Admission Exercise. On Feb 3, they will be joined by 210 students coming in through the O levels."

The uproar of Ejc J1 retained rate but
Thats how I read from this extracted MOE updates.
              I didnt make up story.
Im curious too about the J1 retained %.
Even lets say its only about 150 JAE admitted into Ejc due to no track records, lousy location,
MOE controlled factor as 1 forummer said (unlikely)
              about 60 J1 retained in 2017.

Why worry about retention rate? You just have to ensure your kid is not one of them… and if he/she is retain, isnt it better then to push him/her to year 2 and screw up A level?

I thought you would come back with concrete proof that indeed 129 JC1 students were retained.

Note that the ST article used words like “about” and “will be joined”. So you are still at the inference stage & just jumped to your own conclusion.

Your “even lets say” shows you do not have the exact figures too. It shows up your biasness and inclination to put down other people’s school.

If you have the interest to find out how many JC1 students were retained, other forummers already advised that you could call or email the school directly to find out more.

From the onset, it was never about the number of students being retained, just an opportunity to cherry pick some quotes / figures to create confusion and put down the school.

My friend forward this to me. She said more than 10 got in to NUS Yong Loo Lin School of medicine for the #pioneer batch is considered very good.

10++ EJCian out of pioneer 2017 batch (600+) is considered very good ? 🤔

You people should see the numbers from NYJC then decide whether this number is good or not.[/quote]So how many from NYJC?
                      (DON’T DIVERT ATTENTION AGAIN YA..😁)
