Yes, my dd's tutor(not her teacher) said speed will be out of syllabus next year so the tutor told them not to spend too much time on speed; just know the simple speed. Schools are probably aware but the teachers don't explicitly tell the children. They actually should so that children don't spend a disproportionate amount of time going through speed before this year's PSLE.

On the other hand, if they tell and it turns out that there are a couple of questions on speed, will you be turning around and blame the school? It’s still in the syllabus; while school may have tried to spot questions, they are unlikely to second guess SEAB.

Speed, time and distance go hand in hand. That means the whole topic will be out as well if speed is gone? A bit cannot understand leh.......

Fyr only; except for Maths (which does not seem that useful), the others (content) look good enough for an informative sharing session.

Another fyr. Looks relevant, especially modules 3, 5 & 6.

It's not easy to find reasonably priced explanatory sessions for Sec curriculum, just saying...

Her tutor(ex-school teacher) said if MOE intended to remove speed the following year, they would not go big on the topic that year. She based this on her experience.

Well, i guess you also may be right, parents might blame the schools if the tough qns from speed appeared so schools just did not want to commit.

I need recommendation for Sec 1E Math assessment book. I am hesitant to get the textbook as I heard there will be a change of Sec 1 Maths syllabus next year with new Maths textbook launched. Thanks.

                    All these can sell?

I thought to keep them all in a big box and throw in storeroom for time being.

Looks like no buyers. He has been advertising across countless forum threads.

Seriously, a better time could be after the P5 results come out. Right now, maybe u kancheong to get rid of them, but P5 parents & kids are mostly Just trying to Get thru their SA2 first.

Maybe if he attached a result slip, it would be better 😂
