Feel like taking my child for kite flying session this June holidays.
Anyone has a place to suggest where it is good for flying kite cum picnic? I have not done it for eons so I have lost touch.... :lol: :lol: :lol:
Also I cannot find the thread where someone is selling kites....anyone?

SKP sells kites and kite-related stuff too, though they are a bit more expensive than neighbourhood shops.

The field opposite Sengkang Swimming Pool as suggested by windows is a good place to fly kites too. We would bring along our picnic table and park it at a far corner of the field while my men would go and fly their kites in the middle of the field. Remember to bring along insect repellent or mosquito patch though. -

What a coincidence maid that u are going too? Wud Vesak day be crowded? I want to feel relaxed n think of nothing, just want birds n clouds,
not too sunny too....sounds like heaven I am asking for... :lol:

Thanks for reminder on the mossies too, that is the reason why I cannot take much of outdoors these days.... But kids are like plants, they need some sun to grow!

Wanted to go in the evening when it is a bit cooler, but friend's family cannot make it in the evening as they have to go to the Temple in the evening, so we are settling for brunch on that day.ksi:
