correct, the figures are cumulative, must minus off
is this a cumulative score? meaning to say if 270+ = 360, and 269+ = 471 includes the 360 pax of 270 and above? -

RGS DSA COs this year (2019) : must be really good, not lucky
Perhaps they are not stingy, just that the applicants aren't exceptional or spectacular...same same what they will get via S1 posting...normal smartiepantNebbermind\" post_id=\"1950279\" time=\"1574917250\" user_id=\"15571:
Just curious why RGS so stingy with DSA COs this year? So those who get CO are really good or just lucky or both?
for Academic domain :
a)
if you not good enough (in their opinion), don't even get past the selection subject test stage Round 1, just give u a rejection outcome, even if applied for DSA
One of my friends spent around $688 package, sent her dd to teach her dd \"how to talk\" during interview.
By paying around $688, this DSA preparatory centre
- taught her dd, how to write Personal statement
- let her practise a mock-up interview, then played back the video clip to let her see herself how she talked, and the centre provided guidance and feedback, how to improve
After gone through the whole workshop DSA preparatory exercise, this pupil is confident.
Unfortunately, she didn't even get past the Round 1 selection test stage, because she wasn't short-listed, nothing at all. In the end, just received rejection outcome from RGS
b)
if u have been short-listed for a subject test (Round 1), attended the test
but not good in the test or didn't perform well at interview or not quite what RGS looking for, in the end still get rejected.
one P6 student was short-listed, to sit for both DSA Maths test at (RGS and NYGH).
After the test, she said that the DSA Maths selection test at RGS, was a lot more challenging (tougher), than that of NYGH test
In the end, also rejected by RGS
c)
if you are a good mugger academically in your own primary school in (P5 and P6) All 4 subjects, but never win competition in that subject domain u applied for , also received rejection eventually.
Eventually, these group of students who received Tscore (above 26x, 27x), can still enter RGS, by Tscore
It's the same every year for DSA into not just rgs, but also the other top IP schools. I dun think you can say one year is more difficult than the other. -

aiyoh, when did i ever say \"one year is more difficult than the other\" in my above message, posted ?
Please point out, which part, did i ever compare 2019 DSA against other years ?
2)
when did i mention other IP schools ?
i was merely sharing one school (RGS), and only one year (2019)
where on earth, did i talk about Other dsa school, in above msg
please lah, dont anyhow put words into my mouth -

This is a projection calculated using UNIX based in the ESIS 261 (assumed top 3%) and top 10% 250. So probably close to reality for the top 10% calculation. But after that, read the data with a large pinch of salt.

pls read again, my original message
I think you mentioned you think rgs this year more stingy in giving out CO.
i only said, more stingy for RGS (3 academic domain), for this year (2019)
And did you notice that i didn't even mention nor include Chinese academic domain, right from the beginning ?
did i say stingy for other domain like Sports or Performing Arts ?
No, i didnt what
right from the beginning till the end of my original message posted, i didnt even mention anything about Sports or Performing Arts domain, inside RGS
how u wish to interpret what i write, is up to you, because i do not have control
so how, Swc, going forward -
if ever i share something insight info about my alma mater (RGS), and u anyhow jump to conclusion, doesnt this frighten and discourage people from sharing insight info ? So, those who have insight DSA info better seal their mouth (lips) tight, better dont anyhow share. Share already, see, fired back, worse, right ?
i suggest that, perhaps can learn from Hynion. He is very careful, in what he write, and he doesn't jump to conclusion easily. Notice how Hynion write ?
He wrote, \"I don’t know DSA percentage of girls schools ...\"
After that, Hynion went on to share statistics of HCI plus another school.
Hynion is willing to share info, yet he is prudent in writing and sharing
btw, i noticed that there is a gang out here : FLOPPY, and that person who said \"here we go again\", always out and ready to attack me
anyway, Swc, i respect u,
because i can see that u are kind and shared good, info readily with people in this forum. At least, u bother to share reliable info. That's why in this regard, i respect u, Swc.
So, i apologize, because i know u dont belong to above gang
Come to think of it, there is this Chinese saying, \"hao xin mei hao bao\"
In the first case, i dont even need to share openly, but why i still go on to share, some more in so great detail ?
because
got people sent me pm privately, asked me stuff like,
\"is it very tedious, spend so much time preparing for DSA ?\" This person is asking, spent so much time on DSA, in the end, if rejected, not worth it, might as well just focus on PSLE instead
Then, another person sent me a different pm, \"can share, what is the profile of students like, gotten into RGS, via DSA ?\" Plus some other pple also asked, along similar line
so, since got people asked, and these group of children are preparing for next year (2020) DSA, as well as for 2021 AL pioneering batch DSA, so i thought, might as well share openly, so that at least these group of future potential applicants, going forward have a rough idea, how is it like (the outcome), to dsa into RGS ?
so i shared, lor.
But never expect Floppy and his gang of feathers flock together, to jump upon me -
Here we go again.

what u mean ?
Here we go again.
u mean, i cannot defend, cannot stand up for what i have written myself ?
so, is it wrong, if one were to stand up for oneself, in a public forum ?
i can only tell u straight in the face that \"here we go again, because of your past grudge on me\" -
Hahaha…here we go again…
