There is. There was a drop of ESIS COP (year in P6, 2012 to 2013) of 4 when RV COP (year entering Sec 1, 2013 to 2014) was dropped by 5 pts.
Which in this case, has no correlationBeryeo\" post_id=\"1950884\" time=\"1575173663\" user_id=\"180588:
Need to look at the ESIS for that year to have an understanding of the cutoff point

If we look at a few other schools and RVHS
2015 RGS - 258
2014 RGS - 259
2013 RGS - 263
2015 NYGH - 262
2014 NYGH - 261
2013 NYGH - 265
2015 RVHS - 249
2014 RVHS - 251
2013 RVHS - 256
From2013 to 2014, not just RVHS COP dropped, even RGS and NYGH COP also dropped (by 4 points!). So there’s nothing specifically wrong with RVHS. As someone pointed out earlier, ESIS also dropped by 4 points. -
What are everyone’s predictions abt Dunman High’s COP since it’s similarly a SAP IP school?
-
Maybe remain the same at 256
Dunman High (IP) COP
2018 psle batch : 256
2017 : 255
2016 : 257 -

Any reason why NYGH is so high? Becos they have affiliation so limited spaces for non affiliation students?

Yes I believe that is partly the reason... and of course the pull factor of Hwa Chong at the JC phase.

I see. Perhaps NYGH is also a SAP school so they allow +1,+2,+3 for HCL.
RGS is a non SAP and Non Affiliation? -
Last year, a lot of 23x-24x (relatively easier paper).
Why some 23x schools’ COP jumped as high as +6 ?
This year, also a lot of (22x 23x, 24x).
Will jump too ?
