Why need to submit primary school report book to secondary school?
They will keep the report book or just see then return back to the students?
Again, it depends on school. My girl's school did not collect the report book. Like many have said, the report book only shows your performance in primary school. You are starting fresh in secondary school & the teachers will have 4years to see what kind of student you are

With regards to all your other queries, yes, IB curriculum differs in IB, but you wld be the first who know that even btwn diff IP schools, their Programmes are diff.

Again dear diff curricula in subjects & in particular the subj of math is different fr MO. You might want a paradigm shift to think of MO as a CCA rather than a subj. That’s why I keep highlighting Math ability does not equate MO ability.

Again, just as MO shld be viewed as a CCA, many schools does offer talented individuals weekly time to congregate (as like chess players) to practice Chemistry Olympaid, etc. If u’re keen in these areas, u shld look out for NUSH offerings. They hv competitive CO or PO keen challengers, which not many other schools hv the resources to train their students for.
can't agree more! a friend of mine, kid in NYPS, he's scored A* (ard 98%) for Maths since P1. So is his Maths good? I'd think so, base on school results. But he was NEVER chosen to be trained/ participate in any MO related thingy. So def having good Maths results does not guarantee you'll be selected for MO training.

Wow, the moment you mentioned to think of MO as a CCA, then I understand the no correlation part.

I just called up some Secondary schools that happen to request for primary schools' Report card
(apart from the Serangoon Garden Sec school provided, in above earlier link), on Monday 23 Dec 2019.

I asked the schools why they need Report card for. The schools replied that they need to check and verify information, from the students' Report card. Schools added that after checking / verifying the info they need, they will return students their Report card.

So, for those who receive sms on Friday 20 Dec which Secondary school u have been posted to by Moe, need to call up the posted school, ask whether have to bring along Report card on 23 Dec, or not.

You guys didn't go on any well-deserved overseas holidays at all to recharge? All AWS went to Sec 1 headstart tuition? 😓

280s range at most, seems does not matter, except job well done to the student of cos.
