Sorry, didn’t state clearly earlier.
Some parents may have thought that students who are posted to schools starting with the letter A and/or surnames/names starting with the letter A would be first to be notified.
In fact, parents start to receive posting results as early as 6.05 am regardless of schools’ names/children’s surnames/names (almost all parents should receive notification by 7 am).

just curious.....
Moe automated, start sending out sms from their database server, for those posted Sec schools, from the end of the (A to Z, 26 letter alphabeth range), first
Start in descending order, start from the back, send out sms for names of posted schools from Z, Y, X, W, down etc.
E.g. if your posted school start with A, Anderson or Ahmad Ibrahim Sec, then students posted to these schools, maybe receive sms later
To test this out, confirm whether above hold true or not, on 20 Dec (Friday), once receive sms, just tell us
- what's your posted Sec school start with which alphabet (out of Total 26 alphabet), do Not need to tell us your actual school name as it is confidential, and
E.g.
If Moe has posted u to Broadrick Sec, just say , \"B alphabet school, receive sms 8.15 am, my sir-name start with C \" (example)
- what time, did u receive the sms ?
Is it 6+, 7+, 8+ am ?
Parents start to receive posting results in early morning regardless of schools’ names/children’s surnames/names. -

Because posting to which Sec school :
need provide only One info item, whereas
Psle results, they need to give u the official Psle certificate physically, still need to come down to collect in person
Also, Principal want to give statistics like for this year P6 cohort in your primary school, what’s the overall promotion rate to Sec 1 Express stream, etc. Hence, need to hear this info, in person -

On Thursday past midnight entering into 20 Dec (Friday) wee hours morning, for those who cannot sleep, toss & turn in bed (anxiety), maybe can watch DVD or TV, until next morning.

When u watch until your sleepy eyes cannot tahan, automatically u will fall asleep on the sofa, to be wakened up next morning by MOE sms
