Weird for year 5 cos they start school on 6th Jan but JAE folks come in only in Feb.
Like someone pointed out in another thread, it's actually the same case in the past when the students who enter JC in the first 3 months start school first while the rest who come in after A level results are out join in later? But I hear that they will keep the curriculum light... perhaps more on life skills enrichment in the first month? Not sure if that's the case for RV. Would love to hear what's been planned for the Y5s when you do find out. šŸ˜„

Hallo peasants! Has the school informed guardians whether anything is planned for your (AY2020) Y5 kiddo yet (when school starts 6th)? Mines (same Y5, not Rv) going on internship from 7th (school starts 6th), but I've not heard anything formal from school yet...

Mine has holiday homework though... I saw Maths the other day, then MT... Haha...

Yes, Jan 2020 is exploration month but never say what to explore. Full time table only out on 6th Jan though. There is no book list too. Maybe they are waiting for the incoming folks.

Same, program only out on the 6th Jan. School only given short Maths and Chem stuff to do during long break. Next big thing will be Chinese O Levels results on the 12th Jan.

Any reason why rv starts sch later than the rest of the schools?

                  Hi

I have a question. My gal talked to a few seniors about managing Chinese. They all said was OK n manageable but they all have tuition.

Just wondering how can I help my gal study on her own? What kind of compo reference I can buy?
