Hi, wanted to check if anyone can share with me if the Sec 1 Malacca trip is mandatory and has the dates been fixed? As far as I know if, it’s end Feb/ early Mar before term 1 ends? I am not sure if I have missed any information… Thanks.

              Hi Chujoe,

Yes it is compulsory and the girls have a blast! It’s a great bonding and defining experience for SCGS girls. Don’t worry the trip is not hardship at all.

You can email the Level Head for the dates. For the 2019 Sec 1 batch, they were split into two groups (different dates).

                Hi doodbug,

Ok, I will check. I am actually not worried about hardships. I am keeping fingers crossed that the trip will not take place during the one week Mar school holidays..

Thanks for assuring that it is going to be a fun and worthwhile trip! 😊

                  Hello everyone

May I ask if there is anyone here with girls from Sec 2 IP please? I’m hoping to join a parents’ WhatsApp chat group if there is one please? So am just trying my luck.

I’ll like to find out more about a couple of matters:
                  1. Term 1 topics covered for Maths n Science
                  2. Arrangements for MTL exempted students or Basic Chinese classes
                  3. How many classes are there? And whether there is one go-to teacher for this S2 IP group?

PM is perfectly fine too. Thank you.

                    Hi,

My DD is in Sec 2 IP. There is a Year Head for Sec 2, whose contact info is on the SCGS website under staff directory. I think she can answer all your questions 🙂 There are 4 IP classes in Sec 2. Cheers.

for IP students who scored (B4 or C5 or C6 or D7),

didn't do well in O-level Higher-Chinese exam in June (mid-year) at Year 4,
when move up to Eunoia Junior College, are they required to take H1 Chinese, in EJC (Year 5) ?
