I was hoping if any parent group was keeping track via monitoring at the school. Good to know that 2B < 1Km is 100% safe. Thanks for the info.
That said, please note that 2B < 1km is 100% safe for previous years. With A LOT of new developments including a new estate within 1km of MS, it will be increasingly difficult to tell. You have to hope that the influx of residents within 1 km would not impact this year’s registration.
< 1km in Phase 2B is 100% safe.floppy\" post_id=\"1963806\" time=\"1581950745\" user_id=\"97579:
Anyone have the 2019 Maris Stella 2B Breakdown? i know they didn't have ballot but wanted to know what is the distance breakdown.
Basically wanted to know how safe is <1km at 2B?
Mee Toh seem to be 100% will get in at all distances...
Distance breakdown is only known if someone ask the school. If there’s no ballot, I doubt anyone will also bother to ask the school for the breakdown. -
Hi all,
I am thinking of choosing either waterway primary (near my home) or ximin which is my husband ex school. What are the steps should i do for this year application?
Also appreciate any mummies have feedback on both school on how the environment and teaching is.
Thanks

For Temasek Primary, any chance for SC within 1-2km?

Slim chance even to get a balloting chance.

From Elite.com.sg
Parents can register their child at any Singapore primary school of their choice. However if there are more applications than vacancies, then balloting will be conducted. Balloting will be conducted according to the following order of priority:
Children living within 1km of the school
Children living between 1km-2km of the school
Children living outside 2km of the school.
Is this why the balloting for 2C takes 3 days? Day 1 for <1km… Day 2 for 1-2km -
What are my chances at 2C <1km for St Hildas? Or I should opt for Tampines Primary. 1 chance only >,<

It’s not the balloting process which takes 3 days.

There are 3 days for registration because the sheer numbers of people registering in 2C all over Singapore is overwhelming. So the schools are given 3 days to handle all the large volumes of walk-in applicants.
After registration closes on the 3rd day, each school will tally up their numbers. That will decide which distance category they will conduct the balloting for.
If you don’t fall inside the decided distance category for balloting, then you have zero chance to enter. -

St. hildas risky balloting at <1km, Tampines sure in. You decide.

If child gets into school via <1KM but eventually balloting only for >2KM would the 30 months requirement be relaxed to 1km-2km? or would it still be tied to the <1KM that you registered.
