Hi Yu Xuan, i hope im not too late in replying this post. My maid is from them. If you want advice of the agency itself, I would say they are pretty great. Patience with you and not pushy. However, If you want advice on the maid they bring in, I'm no expert since i've only had 1 maid from them. I guess maids are just pure luck if u get a good ones (Or bad). Hi Everyone,
I want to tell you \"not to go to DANS SERVICES\" at any cost. I have had two filipino maids from them. Both the maids were terrible. 1st one had affairs in Manilla itself (their lodging camp). The agent knew it and she told me nothing about it and instead said she is a very nice girl, etc. We paid a lot to get her as she was a new maid (not transfer). After she came here, she was pregnant in 2 months. She took abortion pills without my knowledge and was bleeding. I saw that and got very worried. and had to immediately send her back home. 2nd maid was a transfer maid. The agent told me that she is very nice, etc and this maid was horrible. Always lieing, multiple boy friends, screaming and shouting at us, interfering in all our personal matters. We tolerated her for a good one year as she was good at cooking our food and since we had already had 3 bad ones before this, we felt we will somehow manage with this as we don't know if the next one would be better or worse. Things got so bad when i got to know she had pinched my 3 year old son's thighs as she was angry with him. The same minute I asked her to pack and leave.
I took picture of my son's thighs, I also had audio recording of how she was misbehaving and when I showed it to the agent they hardly did anything about it. When my husband wanted to cancel her work permit, the agent is telling me to give the maid one more chance to find another employer. I was shocked. If I hadn't sent her back, this bloody agency would have told some other person she is very nice and sent her to their home. This great woman would have continued to torture that family as well.
Not just this, many of my friends who have gone in for DANS have had very bad experiences. All bad maids. Please don't go in for DANS. -

If you want recommendation, I can recommend my agent for many years. I’ve been hiring from her since 2011. Wherever she went, i followed. I think agent is more important than agency. I have a rules for myself, I change hekper once they complete contract and so far all the helper I got from my agent, is quite good. I dont have to choose myself as my agent will do all the screening for me. My families all took maid from her. Hey all, me and wifey had a bad experience with Sakura Employment Ptd Ltd. Everything went great in the beginning. Interview was with an Indon girl looking for a transfer. Then the paperwork started and the issues began.
1. EA insisted on picture of Nric despite me saying I’m not comfortable with whassaping a pic to them.
2. Quietly added 3 PH to the deal when none was agreed upon.
3. Inisted on a $1k downpayment but later changed to $500…and this was after a lengthy nego.
4. Their contracts are a hybrid of what is prescribed by MOM. So a few sections are missing. Specifically the replacement of helper and responsibilities of the helper.
5. Insisted on taking a NTUC policy with them at the highest premuim and when i refused, they stated it’s the company policy to charge $100.00. I asked for a rationale on why i such a policy but they side stepped the question and claimed they got personal manager from NTUC Income and such.
I got frustrated and told them that i don’t mind paying the money but i will want to consult MOM on this practice. Seems like an unfair thing.
Next thing i know, they refunded the deposit and cancelled the transaction.
We transacted with Zainal and Yulia, who are the bosses of Sakura. After this, i made a report to MOM and an online police report cos it’s quite a scam to force a sale.

So far in terms of service wise, majority were quite friendly except for one, Maven employment agency with very rude staff and forceful sales tactic. Really not easy to find a good one and its tiring.

If you live around AMK, i'll recommend JForce which is the agency we used to get our maid. You should ask to deal directly with the boss - Jeffrey. He'll provide advice, talk to the maid if we can't get thru to her etc. even after the agency bond was over. But just to be clear, I actually don't like our maid and have already sent her home - she started showing all sorts of problems after the bond is paid off and her work quality dropped from 7 out of 10 to 1. But the agent is very helpful and I wouldn't blame the attitude of the maid on him.

He also helped to arrange everything to repatriate the maid back at super short notice (think we called him at 10pm and he managed to arrange to pick up the maid and send her back the next day morning). Of course we compensated him fairly too so as long as you're fair, I think he's fair too.
Not sure if I'll still get a maid after this one for some time, but honestly if I do I'll probably get from him again.
