Perhaps they scare the small food businesses kope all the eggs and vege and cause a panic among the normal consumers.

Yes, it’s always those opportunistic bzmen that needs this kind of control so they don’t snap up to sell at their backdoors, denying the public & those who need their daily supplies.

The limit set is still more than sufficient for an average sized family for 1 week's worth of groceries and provisions. $30 for vege, $30 for fresh poultry, 30 eggs.

$30 for combined or individual item?

Think is per customer per category.

Can circumvent by having a few members paying separately.

Anyways, some people already bought extra refrigerators and freezers during the last supermarket run so storage should not be an issue.

For the 3rd consecutive day, we keep breaking our own record. From 14 to 17 and today 23 cases. Not a good sign.

Hubby saw a group of angmo tourists with their tour guide strolling along Kallang River today. So lucky of them to have escaped quarantine.

Flow of goods, food supply cargo to continue between Singapore and Malaysia

                    https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/singapore/singapore-malaysia-cargo-goods-border-restrictions-12547142
Flow of goods and food supply to continue between SG and Malaysia which will benefit both sides. Kind of expected.

Am a little bit disappointed actually because I am very curious to know what would happen to us (for example, price of goods go up or new opportunities for new products to come in) if Malaysia were to stop our supplies for at least 14 days or longer. I know we have back up plans, just curious lah...

Still see S'poreans going overseas for holidays this period. Please please please 🙏 , let's not be complacent and let our guard down. Refrain from unnecessary travel and urge your family to do the same! Everyone needs to play a part!

Introverts are perfectly happy to stay at home & cancel meetups. It’s the extroverts who are at higher risk (and complain more about the social distancing) during this pandemic.
