      Again, from the MEWR FAQs:

      About visiting seniors:
Individuals can still visit elderly family members to assist with their daily needs if there is no one else living with them who can do so. Where possible, we strongly recommend for family members to support their elderly relatives who do not stay with them by keeping in contact through phone or video calls, or bringing them groceries, food and other essential supplies to assist with their daily needs. This is to avoid seniors having to make trips out of the home for such activities.

About going to supermarkets (nothing mentioned about location of where to buy food, whereas exercise is to be near home, and there is a suggestion to choose a less crowded supermarket, again with no mention of how close it is to home):
You should stay home as far as possible. Go out only for essential activities.
Examples of essential activities include going out to work if you are in an essential service and are unable to telecommute, to buy daily necessities such as food, for urgent medical treatment, to assist the old, young or disabled with their daily needs, or to exercise in an open area in your immediate neighbourhood.

Please follow the instructions of the supermarket/shop staff on where and how to queue. Alternatively, you may wish to go to an alternate supermarket/shop if possible, or come back again later at a less busy time.

You can try Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) Hotline (1800-650-6060).

I offered to drop groceries at my mum’s doorsteps but she preferred to shop on her own and told me she is used to do grocery shopping 3 times a week. I insist that she can go only twice a week and must avoid weekends during this period.

Is it possible to come out with some Apps that can limit everyone going to supermarkets/wet markets to say, TWICE A WEEK.

Users need to register under their respective household and can select, say, every Wednesday and Sunday, to go supermarkets. Each time must scan QR code to gain access to supermarkets.
We can use http://www.spaceout.gov.sg to check the crowd levels. There is a tab (middle tab) on supermarkets.

I went grocery shopping yesterday (Sunday) late morning after checking that it was not crowded. Everything was smooth and the queue was very short (over in a few minutes).

                South Korea report that

                Recovered covid-19 patients,
                tested positive again

not sure can it be, because this cunning virus is hiding, or deeply embedded somewhere inside the lungs, lying \"dormant\" ?

\"... nearly a third had unexpectedly low levels of antibodies. In some cases, antibodies could not be detected at all.
                  ...\"

I guess this low antibodies make it possible for the person to get infected again.

                        https://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/health/up-to-70-of-those-infected-may-show-no-symptoms-making-virus-tough-to-tackle

Up to 70% may show no symptoms.

Finally we start to acknowledge that there are asymptomatic cases in the community? I thought this is nothing new as we all know from the very beginning that some Covid-19 virus carriers are asymptomatic and that Covid-19 is contagious but fatality rate is low.

I remember reading a letter which was circulated around in WA, where a few doctors jointly wrote in a petition to PM that “all should wear masks and stop mingling“. That was in early February, I think.

But we chose “no sick no need wear mask” and “live life as per normal“ approach. But again, what I find surprising is, up till mid-Mar our figures aren’t far from HK, until the cases suddenly start to grow exponentially.

Earlier, those who complete LOA can join back the workforce as MOH said, no symptom no need to test for Covid-19. Isn’t this asking all the asymptomatic virus carriers to go back to work and in the process, spread the virus?

Is today’s outcome the result of trying to scrimp on masks and test kits?
