Not affected at all... I've already graduated
But I spoke to some juniors recently and they say NUSH will conduct home-based learning for all students on Fridays (starting this week).

Home-based learning is done on Friday starting this week. Friday not much lessons for most people unless you take electives/honours so not much affected. Still have to log on at 7.40 am to record temperature as a form of attendance.

How do u know if u r suitable for this school?
When u first start out at this school what did u think of the work?
How is the discipline of your school?
What is the school’s expectations for the students?
What is the average score of each subject ?
(Especially maths and science)
How are the students personalities?
Do the boys and girls mix a lot?

I really do not know who is suitable for the school but being interested in math and science helps.


Year 1 and 2 are quite fun, you can explore what you like through electives and modules contain hands-on practicals. Since these 2 years are not considered in your graduation cap, you can take risks such as taking up more electives/olympaid.

Discipline wise we are not strict at all. A lot of freedom is given to the students.

I do not get what you mean by expectation of the students. The school motto?

We go by a cap system where 4.5=75% and 5.0=80%.
Math 5.0
Biology 4.0/4.5
Chemistry 4.5/5.0
Physics 4.5/5.0
English 3.5/4.0
These are all my rough estimate, I did not calculate the average for any of them.

It is the same in every school. There are some “muggers” study very hard but not much social life. Some hang out with friends a lot but not doing very well in school. Some of them are good in everything. One thing different may be we lack competitiveness since we are not graded on a bell-curve such as the A level system so students are happy to help one another.

It really depends. There are some boys that do not even have a female friend and there are some who hang out with them daily.
