KCP most years ballot 1-2km, good chance to enter. ATS ballot <1km, high risk.

Submitted some documents to school for Phase 1. Guess the excitement of registration will ramp up in term 3, after the pandemic ends.

I wonder whether the phase 2B parent volunteers will manage to fulfill their hours before end-May. Usually the letters are issued by June.

              Foresee a possible drop in 2B qualificants/registrants.

SHHK still releasing slots for parents clocking hours and repeated request for slots. Apparently, there are not enough volunteers. So, no, i don't foresee drop in 2B numbers.

Maybe all the parents are too busy with supervising whatever HBL the K2 kids get, no time to grab the SHHK slots? Or are they afraid to have F2F contact with the public cos don’t want to catch Covid19?

Majority of the SHHK parents should have clocked their 80hrs in term 1 this year, ie before the lock down. While there’s a possibility that 2B numbers might dropped, I don’t think it will be a large one.

How about the school-based PVs? Eg the read-to-kids program in schools would have ceased for safety reasons way way before the schools closed in Term 1 (like probably around CNY period in Feb).

Due to Circuit Breaker and enforced \" social distancing \",
PVs duties were stopped for activities that involved crowd,
                        eg.

                        - cut juicy water-melon fruits or apples / oranges for children inside the canteen during recess time, under promote \"eat Healthy food\" week,

                        - read storybooks to children, inside the library

                        - stand at the entrance of school gate to direct car traffic driving in, etc

                        CB started when ?
                        around 2 April ?

So, for those PVs who failed to clock up 80 hours before the CB period started one month ago, & now that CB has been extended to 1 June, that means

unlikely to get hold of your Phase 2B PV letter, by the time P1 Registration Phase 2B start ?
