        Hi verykiasu2010,

though shipping cost is high, still worth it.

can share what is the title of the book, author and publisher? still have the website link?

        thanks....

        举一反三

Do checkout dangdang website for china maths books. I think it will be much cheaper than getting from taobao.

Take this book 举一反三奥数王:一年级 for example, dangdang is selling for only RMB 5.20. Shipping cost is 50% of original book cost i.e. RM 5.00. In total, you pay only RMB 10.20 for this book.

If you have seen a complicated MO question being fully written in Chinese with all the math jargons in Chinese ...

Maths hub is conducting maths olympiad training for parents at $500, for 2 sesssions of 3 hrs. My gosh, it is $83 per hour!! (note not individual session, but group session). I almost can't believe my eyes. Which parent would ever pay such an exorbitant rate??? Furthermore, there are so many olympiad books for primary school students available in the bookstores, that cost less than $20 each. It would be easy for parents to understand the solutions provided, even if their children have difficulty understanding them.

ya, a bit too high they charge.

perhaps those parents who earn more than $83 per hour will outsource MO tuition..... 😉
