Good? That depends on your definition and what you are looking for.
I asked some SC friends they said St Gabriel is a very good and popular primary school.
Why they not over subscribed and welcome PR? Is the school propose the school environment more international culture? Haha!
Popular? Unfortunately, no. -

St Gabriel’s has an e-open house this year. Please take a look, the Virtual Tour video is quite impressive. U can also see the cultural mix of the school, I don’t think it is extremely international:

And this newsletter showcases the fun aspect of what the kids will learn in P1-P5:

Hi Zac‘’mummy , thank you very much for your opinion. I watch the video from St Gabriel. Actually I have some idea about this type of school. They are not really competitive style like some old boys school.
In HK, my son studied in a very “hard working class work” nursery. So he is very familiar to writing and reading. BUT he looks like not happy in the school. After we move to SG, I send him to SJC . He is quite enjoy learning and happy with the teachers and classmate.
So I feel St Gabriel is like a fun and relax school. -

Since you don't seem to mind the distance from Orchard, you can consider Canossian Catholic Pri School, which is slightly nearer but it is co-ed. Small classes and generally positive feedback all around.

Canossian has 4 classes of 30pax, already 2 classes filled for phase 1, unlikely to have vacancies for SPR. Canossa chatgroup is hot!

Even if the numbers double due to the school admitting both genders now, it’s still less than 60.

Furthermore, CCPS historical numbers for the rest of the phases are generally underwhelming, with places carried over to Phase 2CS. I don’t see any reasons why that would change for this year. -

Definitely, when you are making decisions without information in front of you, it's always much more scary. We might see many unpredictable outcomes :skeptical:
Tough for parents wanting to play the odds this year with likelihood of lack of information before each phase closes. Any truly fully online live system may only be ready for the 2021 registration process.
As for those hoping to hear \"live updates\" from MOE from all the online forms submitted before 2C, someone is manually checking each form against documents provided... really I hope you don't count on live updates! -
Hi, can anyone advise me the odd of getting a slot for SC 1-2km during phase 2C for these schools
-Chong Zheng primary school
-Gong Shang primary school
