If you say your P3 boy is still immature...then he still have lots of potential to perform better as he matures. 😉 I have not congrat you yet. He is really good in Maths, top the class. Congrats!! 😄

Thanks IJJ. when it comes to maths, he is self-driven and in autopilot mode. i hardly spent time on it with him to be honest. i am more worried about the 2 language subjects where he only got band 2. But i am very happy with his overall performance in SA1. i thank God for that.

I think there's a lot of hidden dragons and crouching tigers in this thread. Must tread carefully ...

Mine also scored band 2 for CL. She even flunked CL compo (9/20). Thankfully, she did ok for paper 2 and other components and managed to pull score to the 80s. Our merciful God, thanks! 😄
considering your girl only started learning chinese in K2, she has done pretty well.

            Hi Mummies,

We are all doing our best to coach our kids…but do keep some ‘extra’ steam for our younger ones…or else we will be burnt out by then to coach the younger kids.

            dyh,
I have to nag and remind my son to finish his daily homework, revise his spelling when he was in P1/2. Now I am kinda hands off since he is in P4. Well, if he doesn’t complete or hand in hw, his teachers will go after him.
I am really praying hard for him to change for the better and perform his best by P6.

                Hi Mummies,

Do you have any Science reference book to recommend ? Pei Hwa uses Perfect Match…which is very pathetic, given the tough questions set.
                Thanks in advance.

Janet, if you want something more readable, you can consider Fairfield Book Publishers - A Complete Guide to PSLE. Many parents get the EPH Ultimate Science guidebooks too. For your considerations.
