Hi, may I know if an iPad is necessary for med sch? If it is, what is a suitable size?

There's no hurry for you to get the necessity now. Every campus has a Computer IT Accessories and Supplies Shop. They sell relevant stationeries, Laptops and iPads at student price. You can shop it when you are at the campus.

YLL gives $1k for the student to buy iPad.

iPad coupled with GoodNotes or Notability app is a good tool for medical students to take notes with imported pictures.

NTU said no wait listed candidates have been notified so far. Offers will be made as and when slots are available. Not sure why no offers have been made Perhaps there arent any slots ?

does this mean that students w double offers have to accept nus AND reject ntu for the waitlist to move? what if they only accept nus and forget to reject ntu? just wait?

Once u accept NUS or NTU, the acceptance portal will auto-reject the other school for you. The question now is, did NTU over-offer in the first wave, and hence maybe the waitlist isn't moving yet[/quote]My child has accepted YLL long ago and he is on the waitlist at LKC. He prefers LKC. Since he has accepted YLL, does it mean he will be dropped out of LKC waitlist?

[MrNeo]

NUS halls have no aircon. I wonder why they never upgrade after all these years. The halls are very old, all common toilets.

Heard NTU has special halls for their medic students and it is like condo compared to the rest of the other halls. Such privileges. And they have both aircon and non aircon halls.

When they live in the halls, they goto university. When they stay at home, they are going to school. No different from going to junior colleges.

[Chenies]

Yes if he has accepted YLL, the decision would have been final. Also the hostel application deadline is over for the 1st round acceptance. But imaybe that is subject to NS disruption approval for your case?

[peterfamily]

LKC can reduce the school fee, once it takes in more students, like YLL.

Heard LKC got such planning
