I’m not sure whether they are still accepting PV for 2022 registration. Something you may want to check ASAP.

Phase 2C no ballot for SC > 2km doesn’t mean no ballot at all. When it comes to Phase 2CS, you will find your options severely limited if you are > 2km.

Thank you for your input . Currently PV Registration open For HPPS but Fairfield application not open yet 2016

Hihi KSP! Glad to see a post so early for 2016 monkey babies.

I’m planning to do PV for my girl with Poi Ching or Gongshang since we stay at Tampines.
Anyone heard any stories about doing PV in these 2 schools?
Also do y’all have any friends doing PV in 2020? Is the PV affected by the recent CB?

              Found this thread! So 🥰

Having also a monkey year boy🤣

Yes I read through many of the pages in this forum. Still feeling jittery about the primary school registration coming up in 2022.

For us.. we are SC within 1km of Catholic high. Have chance in phase 2b and 2c.

Like I mentioned..still feeling very insecure as I see the balloting history. Maybe am low risk. For parents like me, would it be better if I just look for a good alternative around amk too? Bishan is probably left with Guangyang ..so that is one option.

Catholic high is very convenient...can walk to school lol. Just the past balloting history is freaking me out. It's like a gamble 🤣

Perhaps a more natural alternative is Toa Payoh? in MSHS. There are some form of balloting needed for both schools just that year to year the balloting odds may differ. Recent 2 years, CHS has a very high risk threshold, 1.8X in 2b and 2+ times in 2C. Traditionally, it range in 1.3X. Keep observing this year and next, it will help you. The logic is to come out with a plan that suit your risk profile.

                      I have checked Maris Stella!

Quite far!!! More than 2km away.. it is actually more like potong pasir/braddell area already.

I havent seen Townsville in person. Saw Guangyang school.. quite a walking distance too from the mrt. Lol. For a car-less family..I just wish to have everything to be walking distance 🤭🤭🤭

Double attempts makes sense unless you can’t live with the 2CS Options
