I actually am Alumni of Paya Lebar Methodist Primary but it’s further away from my place. Also I was hoping if my girl gets into Temasek, then I won’t have to worry bout my son 2 years later. So if I want to try for Temasek for 2C, does it mean I have to give up my 2A position for Paya Lebar Methodist?

Yes.
You need to withdraw first before you can apply in 2C.

How far are you from CHIJ Kellock and Zhangde? For Dragon batch, balloting for 1-2km:

What do u mean by venture out? Move house? Are u asking for suggestions where to move for a <1km guaranteed seat into a girls school?

This year I see most of the primary schools are either conducting virtual open house, or they have posted videos of school tours and staff/students speaking about their school.

You can learn a fair bit about the school facilities, school uniform, student mix, which fun aspects they incorporate into their lessons etc etc etc.

If you have other burning questions (like academic results), just email the schools directly.

Hi KS gurus

Seeking your advice - my parents live in Boon Keng area and is within 1-2km of SJIJ. I live in Pasir Ris. I intend to ballot under Phase 2C for SJIJ and if i don’t get it, i will just go for one of the nearby schools (ie Park View) within Pasir Ris under Phase 2CS.
Question - what do you think are my chances for SJIJ? Will moving to within 1km be a shoo-in?
