The next MOE update will be one whole week later, next Wednesday. That’s when the balloting categories will be revealed.

Looks like this year’s National Day long weekend will be a sombre one just like the super dull song. No mood.

If the school is not revealing the breakdown, then I suppose parents are hoping with great expectations that the past trend of >2km will still continue this year.

Maybe they love the name Raffles lor. National Day coming what.
38 schools more than 200% of which 12 more than 300% and 3 more than 400% and 2 more than 500%.

Gongshang outrunning St hilda so far.

In any case, it’s not worth travelling half way across the island for RGPS when u have a girls school across the road from you. Sleep is important to grow the brain anyway.
Zac's mum, i couldnt comprehend. Of the 171 folks who applied for RGPS and if about 120 is staying within 2km and of the 120, within 1km number is 50. Why would 51 folks (more than 2km or PRs) apply for nothing? Or its just a perception and lack of visibility?
unsubstantiated optimism + lack of visibility + lack of experience/research

Aiyah, I think put mine in CHIJ and sleep peacefully. She also can sleep peacefully and walk to school in 5 mins. 🙂

If you don't mind her taking schoolbus, go for Haig girls. Much better than KC.
Haig girls = schoolbus + strong academics + art + leadership program + not so nice uniform
KC = walk 5min + gymnastics + classic uniform

Haig girls unlikely need to ballot <1km

\"Much better\" is subjective.
TBH I don't think there's a lot of difference between the two schools.
Though Haig Girls is pretty unique - one of only two government run single gender school, KC has the benefit of affiliation to KC.
