You need to get an endorsement letter from the church before applying in Phase 2B. -
Anyone failed phase 2b ballot for clan members? if we put waitlist for the school will they give priority to clan phase 2b parents? i was just looking at some of the past year statistics and realised that sometimes the number of vacancies taken is lesser than the available vacancies but the number that applied actually exceeded the available vacancies. Any idea why so?
Eg.
Available : 40
Applies: 50
Taken: 39
How could there be 39 taken when the available is 40 and those who applied exceeded 40. -

Waitlist means it’s up to school to decide. Like Davischew says, may not have priority for clan member. School may choose to take in a SC < 1km over a clan member > 2km.

Using the clan method, will move you up to 2B, but try not to calculate to the very edge. If you are to move up to join a balloting, you need to know your backup plan in 2C. All planning should also include assessment from 2A onwards, gather all the school options then decide the plan to move.
