I never heard about it. Is it good? Do you know why is it free? :scratchhead: -
I don't think there are any issues with using free antivirus softwares. I have been doing that for years, and I never had any issues. I'm using AVG Free, and I'm pretty sure my laptop is virus free.
Take a look at http://lifehacker.com/5865356/the-best-antivirus-app-for-windows. Their review can be trusted, and they recommend Avast! Free Antivirus.
Save the money on those paid Antivirus and spend it elsewhere -

You're welcome. There are really a lot out there. The prominent free ones are Avast and AVG. AVG is getting a little bit irritating though. They will trick you by saying \"AVG recently protected you from viruses...\". This just opens their website, tempting you to buy a pro version. Just ignore that notification.

It isn't worth paying for anti virus softwares. To make up for the lack of internet security features available in paid versions, just download browser extensions. For Google Chrome, I'm using Bitdefender Traffic Light. It will notify you of harmful websites.
Hope my advice can help you to save quite a bit of money
