educate teacher on upper pri syllabus.
No, LeeTaiTai, it's more of a mature discussion. It is our responsibility to support our children's education at home & we need to understand what those requirements are before the support can work well, then going to the teachers for consultation when we do not comprehend. My emphasis was that we should research before a consultation, only then can we finish a fruitful discussion within 5-10 minutes.[/quote]
yes sky, I know where you coming from..it is the more 'structured' approach I admire you mommies in trying to help the kids. I for one, I think more of doing things follow my heart, maybe more spontaneous type, then improve from there..

Yea man! Having to take the GEP qualifying experience, and the long awaited formal SA2 exams. Basically the start of the ‘long March’ ideally filled with more meaningful lasting friendships...

            Onwards to year 2023!

                Dear All,

                P4 Maths Books

I am trying to compile Maths books according to difficulty. From what I read online and the Table of Contents available and the various reviews, I have compiled this. Appreciate if you can rearrange into right difficulty levels. Thanks

                Level 2 Difficulty
Unleash The Maths Olympian In You - Junior 2; by Terry Chew\t\t

                Level 3 Difficulty\t
                Problem-solving with Heuristics - 4; by Susan Chan\t
Problem Solving Processes In Mathematics - 4; by Fabian Ng\t
Processes in Mathematics - 4; by Laura Key and Nathan Yap
Maths Problems Made Easy P4; By Ammiel Wan, Stewart Teng\t\t

P4 streaming is no big deal.

Because whatever subject combi they suggest, is only a suggestion.

Eg school suggests Foundation Science, Standard English Maths Chinese.

Parent can still override and submit form for Standard EMS, Higher Chinese. If u think it’s suitable.

End of P5 then school decide for you.

Want to check…am I correct to say that under the new AL system, HCL is of lesser relevance for someone not targeting SAP secondary school?
