Perhaps, study the past 5 years’ trend of COP, for both ACSI (IB) and O-level?

In the event cannot get into ACSI (IB) but got posted by MOE to ACSI (O-level), at end of Sec 2, if students do well, can consider Transfer into IB in Year 3, but that’s provided your son is really keen in IB

With 255, if target Non SAP schools,

      - Victoria ?
But is it too far from your house ?

      - National Junior College ?
Last year NJC COP was 254

      - SJI (IB) ?

        Any advice for score 230?
Not here or there... can still try for schools with 240 as first and second choice? Or simply no chance?
not a parent but i don’t think you stand a chance of getting into a school with 240 as their cop. because 230 is like 10 points away from 240 which is kinda big. quite unlikely

My son got 259(261 for HCL). Wonder if it stands a reasonable chance to get RI or Dunman?
not a parent again but i think dunman can, because dunman cop is like 254-256 (around there). so i think he can get into dunman! for ri, not very sure but maybe also can, as from what i see ri cop has been like 259-261 (around there). so maYBE he can also get into ri.

Just try RGS based on your 260, because we won't know whether this year COP still the same as last year, or move up or come down.

Sorry, RGS Non-SAP school, cannot apply your +3 distinction. Your girl has done very well in her Higher Mother tongue ! Congratulations, on her excellent 260 and also on her HMT

My daughter got 259+2. Her first choice is NYGH. Is that a little far-fetched? And her second choice is NJC which is more safe. Should she just put NJC first just to be safe?

just put NYGH (your 259 +2 = 261) inside your list of 6 schools, because you never know. Can’t recall which year, but NYGH COP dropped to 258. Don’t mean that NYGH will also cut off at 258 this year, but sometimes unexpectation arise.

As long as your National JC is there inside your 6 choices to catch your daughter, she is safe. At 261, she can enter NJC

Anyone can confirm if already successful for DSA CO, can just ignore the S1 option form if DS doesn’t want to take up third language?

Thanks. Yes, Victoria will be far from our place. NJC and SJI are perhaps the options left for IP.

Any inputs on whether the COP for ACS(I) IB going to be higher or lower than 256 this year?
