Gal just joined NYGS... she just invited to join the Whatsapp group for the coming Sec 1 student. Was surprise to find ~ 80% of the participants are from affiliated NYPS. The 2nd big group is from RGPS.
Anyone knows what is the approx percent of the cohort of NYGS are from NYPS? When will they be informed of their new class? Some schools e.g. Chung Cheng, have already informed the students of their classes. Thanks.

I thought so too. The above is 201 students which is slightly more than half the cohort, I think that year it was 370+ students.

I heard it varies from year to year, depending on the quality of the students. Can be 15, 20, or 30 but probably still limited to 1 class maximum.

Any idea the intake of DSA Maths for NYGH each year?
Will they be arranged in the same class or will they be randomly placed across different classes?
Are they required to attend extra MO lessons?
What program is structured to maximize their talent potential?

The answer to your question was provided at the \"live\" Q&A session between the school management and parents, if i recall correctly. Basically, the academic DSA students are spread out among the classes. I think for Sec 1 there is no special program for Maths or any academic DSA subject.

Yes there is a portal for both students and parents. This will be provided to you by the school.
It's essentially the same portal but with different logins to access different parts, eg. Parents portion has consent/ change in particulars, etc. The students' portion will have those past year papers you are asking about. School results and progress reports are also in this portal.
