      Hi QMS ( Class Monitor)

Any idea if the Sec 1 kids must buy all the different aprons listed in the booklist?

Parents whose kids are in Sec1 please enlighten us. ☺️

Yes, you need to buy the aprons.

There's one for calligraphy. You wouldn't want to risk your child staining the uniform with the ink.

As for the aprons for D&T and FCE, they can be used for two years.

Alternatively, you may buy preloved ones, too.

Yes, but there’s also another plastic apron for Art lesson. Why can’t the kids just get 1 plastic apron for both arts & calligraphy?

As for FCE and D&T, I told her to reuse her older sibling’s.

The purpose is just for protection. You don't have to buy it. In fact, you can use the current ones that your elder child has for all the subjects that require aprons. No need to buy new ones. Nobody checks, anyway.

Hi! I have a kid entering sec 1 next year. I understand from the office that there is no school bus. However, the students told me there is a school bus that drops off students every morning. Can anyone enlighten me? Hope can get a school bus to ferry my kid. I stay at Hougang. Thanks.

                Hi Baggie

The school encourages student to take public transport. the school famous saying “if they don’t learn to be independent now, when do they learn”. “Ferrying the child to school is denying them the chance to learn to take care of themselves”

My kids take MRT from Punggol to school. It’s manageable actually.

Thank you for your reply. So do you know abt the school bus? I also encourage independence. But i reckon there’s nothing wrong is making lives more convenient or less tiring just like adults who bus pool or car pool during the morning rush hour Have a good day.

It’s in the sec1 booklist, so should be starting in Sec 1.

Anyone needs a school tie? Have one that is still new and my child has since graduated.

Also have 3rd lang Malay books to give.
Can meet up Punggol or Tanjong Pagar.
