I’d say traditionally the sports CCAs are well sought after, including Table Tennis, Badminton, Basketball and T&F. However, there’ll already have been students who entered some of these CCAs via Sports DSA, so vacancies are limited (usually only those with past experience can get in) because every CCA has limited spots and all CCAs are competitive.

Our Uniformed Groups consistently do well, and usually have a large intake, (around 100 from the 4 UGs combined) and although I’d expect most students wouldn’t have UG as a first choice in mind, most who get in stick with the CCA and eventually perform well in their respective leadership roles in Sec 4.

Our clubs and societies and aesthetics usually perform really well in their own competitions and SYF too, but their quota is dependent on how many people they need for their performances, so it is also capped.

Ultimately, every student will have their own preferences, and from experience, I think that most CCAs are given similar treatment, so there isn’t really any CCAs that are more “prestigious” than others. As such, finding something one is good at and will enjoy doing is the most important factor in choosing a CCA.[/quote]

Nope, CCA training times are fixed. However, you should consider the different training days for each CCA when choosing your CCA to avoid clashes with any afternoon lessons you might have.

They can choose to change in the toilets, but after a few weeks, usually they get comfortable enough with each other and don't bother with the hassle of going into the toilets to change and just change in class instead.

Not sure if there's any new rules though, given there might be some female teachers walking around, but then again, in the past most of them seemed unfazed by it, even if they walked into a class with someone still changing back into school uni.

                      Hi all

I am confused of the Chinese requirements in HCI. Can please enlighten. Pardon if it has been answered before. Thank you.

At end of Sec 3, they will take normal Chinese O level exams. If B3 (or B4)? Then they can take Higher Chinese at Sec 4? Then if they pass (or any certain grade), they need not take chinese in JC anymore?

My son came back telling me that teacher said that O level normal chinese at end of sec 3 is optional? If choose not to take at end of sec 3, what is the implications? Appreciate your help to clarify.

My understanding is sec 4 sit for gce o levels higher Chinese exam.

Gce o level higher Chinese exam results must be Min B4 in order to not take Chinese in jc.

But I am unsure if this is the same for the o levels class.

                        Edit :

But I am unsure if this is the same for the o levels class (structured ip).
