How did CCHM score for this year’s O level results?

For Sec 2 students,
there is year-end streaming, into Sec 3 subject combination. School will also look into your overall Total percentage at Year-end exam, besides looking at your individual core subject performance.
As such,
are there re-medial lessons held for level Sec 2 pupils
- re-medial in Higher Chinese,
for those students who are struggling with HCL,
particularly in Secondary (zuowen + Open ended Comprehension "li jie wen da" ) section ?
Example
those students who did not sit for HCL paper in PSLE ?
- re-medial in Mathematics,
for students hoping to catch up in their Maths ?
- re-medial in English Lit (Humanities),
for students hoping to improve in their Literature, this year ? -
Hi, would like to inquire on transfer into CCHM.
Does anyone know about the process and success rate.
PSLE T-Score 2020 was 234+2
Now in Sec 1 still taking Higher Chinese
Reason for transfer is because current school environment is very bad
Have observed other classes for better environment hoping to change class but all the class environment the same.
The students in current school don’t really study, happy as long as pass as most enter by affiliation so not a good study environment
Since came from a SAP Primary School would like to continue to SAP Secondary School as culture in current school is very different and cannot adapt at all
Current school is Catholic all girls school -

The Admin Officer will tell you directly over telephone, whether school currently got vacancies or not, now for Transfer.
a)
If No vacancy,
Sorry, cannot proceed.
Then, either proceed to apply Transfer to some other Secondary school instead,
or
request to seek Transfer to another better class, within your same current school.
b)
If CCHM have vacancy now, Admin will advise you,
when is the appropriate time of this year, to submit your Transfer Application form, plus other supporting documents.
One thing, to highlight.
Since you currently come from a Catholic \"All Girls\" Secondary school,
eg.
From a CHIJ school,
or from St Anthony Cannosian Secondary,
before u even start to apply & submit the Transfer Application Form to CCHM, assuming that vacancies do arise,
are you sure that
you can adapt to a co-ed Sec school environment ?
This question, u need to answer yourself first.
If your former SAP primary school is co-ed, perhaps no issue. However, if your former SAP primary also an \"All Girls\" school, need to answer qn honestly -

OK Thx. Yes, I did come from a co-ed school and besides the culture change, being in an all girls school has also been hard to adapt to.

If transfer to another Sec School is successful, does it mean Sec 1 CCA Points must be forfeited?
If new school has same CCA as current CCA, is it possible to continue the same CCA in the new school? Or need to go for trials?
Is it only possible to transfer to new school at the start of each year or can transfer in mid-year?
E.g. Term 2,3 or 4 -
Since you are a 2021 Sec 1 student, born 2006, and today is only month February, Psle barely over 4 months ago, meaning that you merely joined Sec 1 only briefly for 2 short months,
and
CCHM being such a highly popular school due to her affliation to Nanyang Junior College, with a difficult-to enter L1R5 Cut off point 6 for Science stream (JC1) , chances are no vacancy now.
However, since already given you the school telephone, do call up to clarify (confirm), regarding vacancies for accepting Transfer.
Normally, Secondary schools tend to accept Transfer only at year end. Timing is usually after End-of-the-year Assessment is over in final Term 4, provided on condition that
vacancies arise.
School need to assess your overall ( Sec 1 and / or Sec 2 academic + your past Psle Tscore can’t escape from ) results, besides looking at your Cca past record.
If the Accepting Secondary school have the same identical Cca as your leaving-Transfer-out school, that will be great !
Whether won’t lose points or not, best to clarify with that particular school’s Cca Tr in charge. Just drop an email to the Cca Tr in charge, and see what is his (her) advice.
Also, do note that even if u Transfer school under the same Cca, scenario or situation may change.
Example
Say, in your current school, you are already a Sec 2 leader in Uniform group NPCC (National Police Cadet Corp). But after Transfer into the new school, all the Leadership position already been taken up by other students before you even Transfered in, end up, no more Leadership (NPCC) for you, for that year. For this, best to discuss with the new school’s Cca Tr-in-charge of NPCC : how is it going to affect, impact you, after successfully Transferred over ?
Btw,
not every student is guaranteed to end up with 2 Cca points, by the time they finished, completed Sec 4 (O level). Don’t assume that it is always 2 Cca points awarded, for every student
because
there are some Sec 4 students at year end only get awarded with 1 Cca point, not 2. They can’t help feeling disappointed. -
