      Thanks Davis.
Hope is just register fee only. As i heard from other that may need to donate when there is events.
Donation is entirely voluntary. Once you sign up for the alumni and pay your dues, you will not be denied a place for Phase 2A1.

Hello, first time posting. May I know if there are any parents whose kids are in Pei Chun Student Care and any reviews for the school student care?

Do they get any outdoor time?

Hello!! Would like to enquire on how is the AED support in PCPS? Is the overall environment conducive and supportive of a child with very mild sensory issues? Grateful for any sharings!

Hi, Does anyone have experience with regards to entering school based on the Hainan Hwee Kwan Affiliation? What are the terms to be qualified into Phase 2B. Thanks!

Not affiliated. Only way to Phase 2B is via PV.

I am contemplating between this school and Marymount convent . Any advice ?

Marymount convent has almost all good reviews but for PCPS I heard mixed reviews about the school .

Is there gymnastics CCA in Pei Chun? I find the lineup of CCA in PCPS not as interesting . Even the dance club is Chinese dance only ? No modern dance ?

But PCPS is definitely better if I want my girl to learn higher Chinese . Are they academically focused ?

                    Thank you in advance !

                      Hi xyun08,

If your daughter have successfully balloted into Pei Chun under 2A2 (old girl or your spouse old boy), stay put. Don’t come out any more, no need to register into any Phase 2C school. To get admitted into a SAP school, doesn’t come easy.

If you want your girl to do Gymnastics Cca, she can always pursue it outside Pei Chun, be it AG or RG.

Encourage your daughter to do well in (P1 and P2). At the end of P2, seek Transfer back into your 2A1 (alumni) school. This 2A1 school tend to favor students who have done Higher Chinese in (P1 + P2).

                      Why ?

                      Because

All SAP schools start Higher Chinese, right from Primary 1.
Thus, Pei Chun stands in good shape, to help her transfer across, as long as her overall holistic performance is good. SAP school Transfer into another SAP school, is easier. All the very best to your girl, in Pei Chun !

                      ========================

                      fyi

Based on several past batches, there had been incidents of students transferred into your 2A1 school,
from both (Pei Chun + Marymount),
at the end of their P2 education journey. Both (Pei Chun + Marymount) are not affliated to any Secondary school. If a P6 student has affliation to a Secondary school, then maybe won’t feel so stressed preparing for PSLE, under AL marking scheme

                      AG : Artistic gymnastics

                      RG : Rhythmic gymnastics

Thank you very much for the positive advice!! Indeed it is not easy to get into SAP school and I myself have always been someone who like Chinese language and culture.

You are right , CCA like AG and RG they can learn outside . She is already learning ballet now . Who knows she may find other interests in Pei Chun unrelated to dance .

Words of wisdom from you really 点醒我.
Regarding transfer to 2A1 school indeed I heard of many who transferred from MMC to that school. Not sure if that will be disruptive to the kid if I ever want to consider that .
Thank you for sharing your opinions with me and indeed we as parents just want the best for our kids .
