A 4 year old with cancer and a mums fight to save her life

Charmaine is indeed very fortunate to have a never-say-die mum who fight real hard for her survival.


Sad though that with each highlighted case, there're lots more that go unnoticed. If you want to do your part for other cancer victims, how about signup for the race against cancer?

I saw charmaine last week. Her brother had just signed up for swimming class with me and she came with him during his first lesson. I feel my heart break when I saw her. She is very well behaved and it saddened me to have to see her fight against such a terrible disease. She went for chemo again the following day and hopefully her conditions had improved

I have been following the blog to keep myself update on her situation. I am very surprised, at this tender age, Charmain can be such a strong girl. I have not known of anyone suffering from cancer before but from the movie "My sister’s keeper", I can feel the suffering of the patient and the family.


I constantly read her blog, because I am concerned about her fighting path and at the same time, it help me to remind myself, how fortunate my family and I are in.

I remember reading this post from KSP last year and out of curiousity, I went to read an update of how Charmaine is doing now and the struggles are still there for Charmaine and mummy and family.


My heart just feels so heavy after reading the blog and pray for Charmaine that a miracle will happen soon for her and she will be fully cured from the terrible cancer monster. and pray that her mummy, Cynthia will be so strong throughout, it is tough, very tough but just want to let her know somewhere, someone, some parents are praying for Charmaine and her family. Be strong, never never give up...

in the meantime, to all parents out here, we have to count our blessings, though life can be stressful or monotonous for some of us, we do not have to face such a tremendous struggles with life. We have to appreciate what we have.
