Is your boy's tutor going to recommend a book for him?
The book we borrowed of this particular author Liu Yong is quite easy to read. Out of the 2 pages, only 2 - 3 phrases he does not understand. -

my son says that the books in the recommended booklist are not compulsory. They can select their own books. But maybe i'll still bring him to the library tomorrow. Which did you say is good? -

I got Liu Yong's \"zhao yue zi ji\" for him. It is primarily letters from the dad to the son and the son's thoughts too. -

i brought him to the public library just now. found a book with the help of the library staff. i asked the staff to recommend something that might be suitable for my boy. She said either the 冰心 ones or 尤今. hai, why the booklist printed teh 尤今 name wrongly... Anyway, we got a 尤今, bc that is a singapore writer, so the language might be more what we are used to. Also, the 冰心 books look so old. -

Should I consider this school for DSA Academics? My results ranged like this:
English: 86.8/100 (Top: 87.3/100)
Maths: 93/100 (Top: 98/100)
Science: 77/100 (Top: 84.5/100)
Chinese: 87.3/100 (Top: 91+/100)
HCL: Merit
My results are mediocre but I really wish to get into NJC. Please advise! TIA! -
