      Hi Parents,

During PTM, MT teacher do not give the "results" in the summary format like the FT did. Other then the 2 tests, which DS score 20/20 and 17/20, how do I know is level for MT?

        Hi, jiyou2003

My DS MT teacher provided the results of the MT test when he was in P1 and P2, just like the other 2 subjects, unless the school changes policy this year...anyway, think you can always check with the MT teacher.

If there is no change in policy, your child will be able to take up Higher Chinese in P2 based on his/her results in the final semester.

Ok, so let's start talking about CCA in Juying. I still try to understand the whole concept and I would be glad to discuss it.

            Dear all,

I like to know more on CCA in Juying too.
Would like DS to join scouts (at least i will not be so worry for his NS). He is thinking of badminton (which he dont play yet).

              Hi, jiyou2003

CCA is not compulsory until the child reaches P3. However, I believed the child can participate in some CCAs when he/she reaches P2 (eg. Robotics). As for badminton, the school usually have a 'selection' test done by an outside coach. Hence I think for the child to be selected, he/she must already have some knowledge/skills in playing the game.

              Hope this helps.

You can teach him yourself (if you can play and know how to teach) πŸ˜„ Otherwise you may try for private classes, or alternatively, you can sign up for classes in the CC. They are not very expensive but the group can be very big.

                    Hi Jiyou2003,

You may like to consider the badminton holiday course for children at the Jurong west SRC from 15 June to 18 June, 9-11 am. Its a four day course at abt $40+ and the class size is not too big. πŸ˜„

                        hihi,

                        Im new here.

Just wanna find out more on Juying. Are more of the children in Juying well-behaved and well-mannered cos i have seen some school, the students are rather rowdy and rude?

How do you view on this?

                        Thanks
