      tankee:
Have anyone tried Komala's? what's good there?

Was at Yishun Northpoint yesterday. There are two Indian stalls side by side at the food court. One is Komalas. The other one, don't know the name. It is this stall (which I don't know the name) that has a long queue while Komalas has a shorter queue. DS ate their mutton beryani. Very nice. They have their mutton in cubes or with bones.

We didn't try Komalas. So can't comment on them.

Yes, I believe Komalas is vegetarian. We usually eat the set meal - sori, can't remember what's on it  but they taste yummy. If you bring DS, you can let him try the prata or the tissue prata. My girls love those. They also like the lassi (Indian yoghurt drink). My kids usually take the sweet lassi whilst dh and myself will get the mango lassi.

Tankee, u live in the East right? There's an Indian restaurant, Chat Masala at Upper East Coast Rd which my family sometimes frequent. The food is great. U can read the reviews at some of the food blogs.

Some of my family faves are the :

Naan - there's a variety, for eg., fruity naan (our favourite), butter naan and garlic naan
Butter chicken - non spicy so the kids can take this dish
                  Kerala fish

There are other dishes too but we usually take the above mentioned. I think they have another branch at Greenwood for those living in the Bukit Timah area.

                  :celebrate:
