Registration can start earlier, or later. This is the 'official' reference date.

My friend just send me the mailer for last year registration. It was written the address need to be reflected in parents NRIC by 31st May. Can I confirm that?

Address needs to be updated by 31 May if you are to use the standard online application process, i.e. P1-IS. Otherwise, you have to register via online form.

I see. So my lease dated 30th June is fine? Just that I have to use the online form? Sorry as we just came back to Singapore, unfamiliar with it

Any parents who are separated but not officially divorced like not yet done with the papers? Like just not staying together? In this case of different addresses in NRIC, what will happen? Will we have problems registering?

Will have to register via online registration and not P1-IS as well.

Hi all we r currently staying within 1km of the school we are applying under 2B ( rental address) and we have also bought a place within 1km (same distance category) , but we won’t move in til end of this year as handover is in October and we need to do renovations


For the upcoming registration in July, should we use the nric address which is our current rental address or the resale address - we have proof of the resale transaction on hdb .

Or it doesn’t matter since both addresses are within the same distance category (1km)?

It doesn't matter.

However, if you want less updating in future, you should use the HDB address.
