It’s only considered early if it starts before 10 yo. Ask his dad when he started his. This book says generally the sons will start roughly 9 months younger than their dads.

Worth buying and reading up. For your son too.

According to the book, my son might still be a tad early. This fine pubic hair is happening now, while his private part has grown since last year i think… he doesn’t let me see, he screams “PRIVACY!!” So yah, i wouldn’t know when it started. He has small white head, tiny pimples on his cheeks, this happens occasionally. I didn’t have acne so I don’t know what age this starts. I just hope it isn’t gonna hasten the puberty process and because of that, end early… so he ends up a short and stunted adult…

And of course I miss the kiddo stage la, I know I’ll dread teenage stage

Don’t worry so much lah, start early doesnt mean will end early. The whole process takes several years anyway. And there’s still the potential growth spurt.

Just continue to give him space (and privacy haha) and be there for him. My boy has some pimples too, not full blown acne yet but have to nag to use facial wash.

I try, i try... this mom has talent for worrying. Just want the kids to be well and normal. Too much problems in the house as it is already.

I bought facial wash, he literally squeezes on his palms, lather, touch his face and considered done. He even asks if there is a face/body/hair/teeth wash in one because too confusing when all separate.

I can be open minded but things like wet dream I can’t explain much. Anyone can advise?
