Comparing English Enrichment Programmes
-
Given now enrichment centre are forced to go online it is the best time to evaluate tuition centre by going trial as parents can sit beside and observe the teacher way of teaching. You would be surprised the quality of teacher can vary so much when it comes to teaching.

My kids attended either trial or holiday programs… these are our personal opinions.
Lil but mighty- good focus on paper 2
Writers at work - good focus on composition
The Alternative Story- works on both p1/2, although not as focused as the above 2 centers. -
Hi,
Does anyone has any good recommendation for a center that is strong in Paper 2?
Thank you. -

Hi Raineeee, did you try Chalkboard Aca in the end? Keen to get feedback. Thanks.
Hi, any one has any reviews or feedback on Chalkboard Aca?
My girl has not make any improvements with her current home tutor, so would like to look for alternatives.
By the way, she is P6 this year, so not much time left to catch up.
Thank you! -

My 3+yo started attending KUNO (Hougang) when she turned 3. The fee is $70/session (60min) and a term = 7 lessons. She enjoys the classes generally. I’m currently at the stage where I’m not sure if she is benefiting much from the programme. Perhaps because I don’t practise fine motor skills activities with her etc.
So I’m not sure if the lessons are benefiting her much. I have started looking around outside of right brain training, to English/Chinese classes.
Notice there are many enrichment classes in Mid Town (Hougang) during the weekend. Does anyone have any review on the following enrichment centres:
1. The Play Yard
2. I can Read
3. Letterland
If there are centres with fewer students to teachers ratio, please feel free to share your experience. Preferably in the Hougang vicinity.
Thanks. -
Chanced upon this english tuition centre at king albert park.

Been asking around in the parent chatgroups, but no one could provide feedback on how the curriculum and teaching is like at this centre.
Anyone here can share their experiences with this centre?
