Calynsea same boat as you. Best of luck. All-any info do post. Thus begins the long wait. Don’t understand all the secrecy in a society that should strive towards transparency..
Good luck to you, myself and all.

I understand and also agree that it will be good to have more info...but then again I was telling my spouse regardless the info we have we are not going to change our plans so it's fine that we don't have although good to have.

Yeah in our case maybe not. Just have to cross fingers. But thinking of the broader audience. I’m sure such information can make a huge difference. Potentially throwing a ballot with no mathematical chance.

E.g. depending of distance. Could be a 0 percent chance at rgps but 30 percent at nanyang. Because no info go for 0 percent

Yup that's totally correct, if you are outside 1KM all these info makes a huge difference.
Sorry for not being clearer earlier, I was saying that to my wife as well. If you are outside 1KM you need those info to make an informed decision if there are already more ,<1KM SC applicants than seats then basically you don't even have a chance to take part in the ballot. But for those within 1KM, you have no option but to proceed regardless the info you have as you don't really have better alternative.

97 places available under phase 2C. 20 more places than 2020. Good luck to all applying under P2C.
                At Phase 2C this year,

If there exceed more than 97 SC applicants living less than 1 km from Rgps, then balloting will arise under (less than 1 km).

                Otherwise,
if less than 97 SCs living less than 1 km apply, then
balloting will arise within (1 to 2 km) distance bracket.

With 97 vacancies left in P2C,
SCs living beyond 2 km unlikely to have any chance,
please focus on other primary schools instead.

While there is merit in providing more information, there is also merit in NOT providing more information, especially LIVE updates.

P1 registration is not like stock market.

You can't apply school A (1-2km) because got chance, then withdraw 5 mins later because no chance. Apply to school B (< 1km) because no ballot, but withdraw 10 mins later because now got ballot. Apply to school C (< 1km) because no ballot. Just as you resign to fate and curse your luck, you realise many people are overthinking the process and now, you have a chance at school A again! Hooray, withdraw and re-apply to school A. Next thing you know, the circus repeats itself the next day because everybody else is doing it, so why can't we?

The current system is simple and straight forward. Commit yourself and live with your decision.
I'm awaited to the Valhalla! Witness me!

How about since there’s 3 days for Phase 2C…

Why not Day 1 only for those applying within 1KM, Day 2 for those 1KM to 2KM and Day 3 for those more than 2KM?
Likewise provide updates for Day 1 and Day 2 only.
Then people can make an informed choice. Oh and yes, no withdrawal once submitted for that Phase.

So if I want to aim for School A which is 3km away, I wait till Day 3... only to realise that it's full (or at least oversubscribed by those < 2km).
My backup is School B which is next door, but I can't apply because I've missed Day 1 and is now limited to schools > 2km away?
How is that an informed choice?
