RGPS has got nearly 100 places available for P2C, if the school is going to entertain such enquiry, my guess is they will be receiving endless calls from KSP across Singapore <1km, 1-2km, >2km. And certainly, some parents will be making calls every 5 mins to check on the \"stock price\". At the administrative level, for every call, the school will have to check on the updated information from MOE just to ensure they don't provide wrong, misleading or conflicting information.

The other possible reason for not disclosing such information is fairness to everyone, instead of allowing some KSP to gain an advantage over others. e.g If you have access to information that can give you an advantage over others, would you be so kind to share in the forum? My guess is not. Less competition = higher chance

But after the application closed, surely there's not much harm to disclose (like what other schools have done based on some comments posted here after SJIJ and ACS? Especially on the balloting distance.

The lady over the phone said that due to some parents do online submission in P1 registration, is all controlled by Moe now. She said MOE have the numbers. She said she don’t know which distance bracket for SCs is balloting this year.

I called both RGPS and MOE, both not disclosing.
They say wait for official announcement via MOE website on the 12 Aug by 6pm as stated.

Guess just need to be patient, catch some fly past on National Day and wait for 12 Aug then.

Actually yesterday when I called both, they were on the same page too but in another way.
RGPS say they don't have the data need to call MOE as MOE doing the reconciliation. MOE say they don't have the data but you may call the school of your choice but they not sure if the school will disclose.

But in any case cold also understand why the person picking up the call does not want to disclose, especially last year and this quite a few people get haul up under the Official Secrets Act. If I'm working there, I also might not want to disclose thinking it's alright, but in the end for some unknown reasons getting into trouble.
