Yes english LC was very hard. Most of the questions were debatable. It should be exercise not self grooming. In the passage, they said you will see people pretending to brush their teeth and wash their face. It PRETENDING. So it should be excercise as they mentioned doing deep breathing and stretches. For selflessness vs cleverness, selfless ness allowed her to enter the cave but the act of rescuing her brother required cleverness mostly.

Most people put number of nominations but in the passage they said ‘ like many others, she received many nominations’ However, the winner must be the one that stood out, not one of the few. The last one is exercise, after a lot of discussion, most of my class agreed. Cleverness vs selflessness… We had a shouting match haha.
My DD said too. These are trickier questions for EL that she can remember.
What quality helped Dina to save her brother? Selflessness VS Cleverness
What criteria for the best educator award? Number of nominations VS Commitment to the job
What was taught in the club? Personal grooming VS Exercise
Also, there is another one
Under the teacher’s guidance, John became more_____. All three options are debatable. -
After the Chinese LC, most of us knew EL was going to be extra hard as MOE are merciless people. Most people would not eat lunch because they were upset. Have to book coffin liao.
