I understand why people are interested but hard or easy, right or wrong, the answer cannot be changed. For students, especially during the day of the exam, there is no reason to spend energy debating what you did. Eat, drink, and get mentally prepared for the next round is the best use of time IMO...

1.4% of the ~ 39300 Pri 6 students missed last Friday's LC exam due to Covid-related reasons. No retest will be conducted, affected students can apply for special consideration.

1.5% missed oral examination (but there were retest on 31 Aug and 1 Sep).

That is so strange. LC uses a pre-recorded audio, doesn’t need much manpower to conduct a re-test.

Whereas Oral re-test requires mobilizing the language teachers all over again. Is it conducted at a centralized location? Or the teachers have to visit the schools all over SG in pairs just for each candidate?

              \"LC uses a pre-recorded audio\"

Which means everyone know the contents by now. They can't use back the same audio and would need to record a new one. Probably too much hassle to do so 😆

And btw CL oral also has Pre-recorded video clip leh…are they using back the same one then?

Didn’t see warnings on this forum barring discussions post-exam, but on the FB groups, admins were warning people not to discuss.
Exactly to prevent leakage of qns to such candidates.

                  Such warnings meaningless.

The admins probably don’t know Singaporeans very well. The more you tell them not to discuss, the more they would discuss.

Pressure of PSLE is really intense. My DD also said the English LC was really hated.

Just would like to know the general opinion on these:
                    - what’s the sis’s first thoughts when found brother missing. Brother has gone to find her?
                    - when was she sure he was inside the cave: heard him crying vs went searching the cave
                    - what’s true about the hawker: wanted to promote hawker culture vs bonding
                    - what does aspiring hawker need to know: overcome challenge vs give feedback
Any views will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
