I guess we are using different Math textbook...
Heard from DS’ tutor that one school has cut out Maths Chapter 15 (Quadrilaterals), ie the last chapter in My Pals Are Here 5B.
No word from our school yet. Will probably by revealed by the teachers once Term 4 starts.
We are still waiting for our Science WA3 to be marked. The teachers supposedly had to meet during this 1-week hols to discuss every single qn and answer. Not sure whether cos some parents previously complained that WA2 was marked “too strictly” by certain teachers.[/quote]
Sounds like PSLE marking scheme. If new answer is accepted, go back and re-mark all of the papers
. Positive is all the students will know what is / isn't accepted for SA2.

I did not realize no school for P1-P5s tomorrow due to PSLE LC (thought only PSLE Oral no school). I guess becoming complacent parent. Previously get hard copy of circular, sit down to read, highlight, etc. Now, download on phone, skim, scroll, skim, scroll, ok, ok, yeah, yeah, ok…
Kid said good thing I do not need to be tested for visual text comprehension. Very careless… -

I plan to bring kiddo to visit my mum with mooncakes, right after we swab ourselves for the ART. -
LC was very hard I heard. Now even LC cannot be complacent, at least for paper you know the definite wrong or right answer after discussing. My older daughter said their class had a shouting match and still cannot determine the right answer for any questions. LC got more tricks liao, must be careful, cannot think LC easy, later die.

PSLE every point is critical, especially in AL system. Nobody should ever consider any subject as "easy"

Would like to check with experienced PSLE parents out there. Trying to plan ahead for 2022.
Is it always the case that the main 4 days of PSLE are like this?
Thursday: English Paper 2
Friday: Math
(Weekend break)
Monday: Chinese Paper 2
Tuesday: Science -

This was the schedule in 2020 and I believe it was the same in 2019. I think the school prelims will also follow this schedule so you can get some routine down ahead of time.

Sorry, just for clarity the languages Paper 1 and Paper 2 will be on the same day. Math is also Paper 1 and Paper 2, so Science is the only day they don’t need to reload and be ready to go back-to-back.

Thank u. Just hoping for a whole weekend to do the final cramming of Chinese vocab & hope more words will stick, my kid’s weakest kid component.
