Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) Updates

Now confirm, stamp, chop moving towards endemic liao…

Seems like this was a fairly balanced article about the issues schools/teachers are facing. With today's announcements, hopefully HBL is a thing of the past, and most students won't miss time next year with no QO, LOA, etc. Still not clear to me whether the full syllabus will be back in PSLE next year (seems like there is a \"backlog\" at pretty much every grade level).
BTW, with the outage it looks like Friday's posts were lost -- obviously not a problem. Maybe it's a sign I should quit replying some topics. :rotflmao: :rotflmao:

OT:
Yes, the outage affected pms too, cos some messages I received & read then had disappeared without a trace! (Fortunately, I had a copy offline, cos I'd like to reply to them

1 guess will have some kind of small brakes here and there coz will have mutations, new surge etc.

Am getting confused; for those ART positive and no symptoms, just ART on Day 3 (ie 72 hours) or daily until negative, then taken as ok and no need to do a doctor?

Yes, that’s what I interpret from today’s announcement.

So if u no symptoms, on Day 3 u ART again and if -ve, tell your company (they may request evidence) and you can go back to work. Now all ownself police. MOH no time and no point to jaga every single case. -
Based on the announcement, I just hope prices of ART kits would become more affordable as we will need them as much as we need the mask.
The upcoming distribution of 10 ART kits won’t last very long if one is infected … -

I think if you get HRW you will be eligible to get more kits from the vending machines with NRIC. Of course, the supply could get tight but hopefully there are enough reserves so those that must take to clear protocol/go back to normal can do so without paying tons.

This was the case even before yesterday, for those with no/mild symptoms. Which is why the daily case nos. are no longer any indication of what is happening.

An issue I have with their announcements is that there is no clear description of what constitutes mild/serious or well/unwell. My family is that kind that treat anything other than \"can barely crawl out of bed\" as \"mild\" and \"fairly well\", while others will consider any cough/cold/slight fever as \"serious/unwell\". Somewhere else, \"e.g. high fever, breathlessness\" was given as descriptions of \"unwell\", but how high is high? -

Employers will almost certainly provide or pay for ART kits when staff need them for any work-related requirements, I guess. For personal use, yes, I hope there will be some kind of subsidy or a certain no. of free kits distributed periodically. I also feel that it should be per person and not per household if we need a lot of them. My household is 4 pax, and other households are bigger, so 16 ART kits won't last long. Compared to some of my colleagues who are singles who live alone, their 16 kits will last them a lot longer. And I guess they can't invent reusable kits?!
