Just wondering if it’s a specific game on Roblox. Some of them are the violent type of shooter games. Does that trigger the fever/adrenaline more than Eg. the non-violent obby (obstacle) type of games?

I think so. He wont stop immediately when asked, so he’s racing for time. It’s called bed wars. I bet it triggers adrenaline, but to such an extent, is that possible? So what doctor was trying to do was eliminate the cause - from internal or external. I just find it so hard to believe game can cause fever. But of course it’s much better than an actual sickness from internally.

Bed Wars is a game where each team tries to destroy the other teams’ beds. Once destroyed, the players cannot re-spawn after they die. There are plenty of ways to play the game, with many strategies, equipment, etc.

My son doesn’t encounter flushing or fever when playing Bed Wars (or any other game, Roblox or non-).

DH has had high uric acid levels before (doctor suspects gout too). Can try cutting back the gout-causing foods, but no flushing from DH playing handphone games either.

This fever and flush started just days ago. He was playing it fine before… im so worried i dont know what else to think or where else to look. And is high uric acid dangerous? I mean he’s a kid. Did your DH need medication?

Very high uric acid is a warning alarm for gout. Usually occurs in obese individuals (is your son overweight?). Watch the diet he’s having too to reduce the uric acid level in the body.

He is very thin. Quite skinny. In fact he has problem gaining weight.

I think there was some medication, but he didn’t take much of it. Mostly solved by eliminating the gout-causing foods (you can Google for a list). And daily exercise.

Maybe u can just stop the Roblox for the time being. Let him go outdoors for the Vitamin D (from sunlight) - although I can’t say I’ve been letting mine get sunlight & fresh air during this P5 revision week!

Ill probably consult a PD for his uric acid thingy. It is one concern; i will also try to control by diet. My elder brother has gout, and not on medication. I got really concerned because google said kidney problem.
He’s been home bound since beginning of oct because we were quarantined, my husband was covid +ve and on home recovery, the house was chaotic, i was chaotic, one thing after another, stress was crazy. We were high suspects of covid and i was panicking at every single cough or sneeze or increase in degree. So zero sunlight although we were sweating from the heat indoors. On top of that, p5 revision, homeschooling the kids. Id say it was a terribly stressful time for us. So now with my son like this, im even more stressed.
Im giving him 2000IU vit d now and dont know what else. There are supplements in the market for uric acid but he’s a kid, so either i spend on a
                    Naturopath or just try it.
